Three days ago I dropped my iPhone and shattered the screen. Along with all my hopes and dreams.

I got online today and googled “dropped iPhones” and found a great site called iPhone Matters. It’s pretty much everything iPhone. I found a post called The Dropped iPhone Support Group where people share stories about dropping their iPhones. It’s odd, but it’s comforting to know that I’m not alone. I swear, you just don’t know what it’s like to drop your iPhone until you’ve actually done it. Do you watch Family Guy? I feel like Brian in that episode when we finds out he has a son (spark your memory?). There’s a scene later in the Drunken Clam when he’s freaking out about Dylan falling out of a window or something.

Anyway, the amazing thing is that it still works. But one more hiccup like that might actually knock the glass right off my phone. I visited the Apple store and AT&T, but the best they can do for me is a $199 replacement. There’s no telling how long I’m gonna have to wait for the replacement, but I don’t have many options. But that’s a lot of money that I really can’t afford to spend right now.
